1979 Chris-Craft Catalina Fly-Bridge 33' It will be heartbreaking to sell this as I've owned it just over year and it's fantastic fresh-water only boat. I am essentially the second owner. However, the original owner purchased it and had it on Lake Michigan until he sold it in late 2017. The second owner (or foster owner -- for about three months) was older and after the boats trip to brief stay at Lake Lanier in Georgia, his family soon grew tired of going out and it's too much boat for one person to handle so he promptly decided to sell. I have come across an opportunity to get another (older) Chris-Craft which is bit bigger, which happens to be the reason why am looking to sell. All records since original purchase are meticulously and chronologically maintained and included in binder. The Starboard engine is showing 1400 hours, though have the rebuild ticket back in 2005 showing 1159 hours; thus 241 hours on it since 2005. Last summer, my error in being unfamiliar with the gear/throttle setup resulted in the need to replace the port engine. I replaced it new and it now has about 40 hours on it. Reference the diagram attachment of the interior for the layout. It has couch (w/hide-a-bed) and bulkhead mounted plasma tv in the salon. New ceiling covering was installed by the original owner just prior to sale in 2017 and it looks great. It has teak interior, newer reverse cycle AC/Heating unit which was added in 2017 including new electric toilet during the same time. Large refrigerator/freezer combination, GPS, good sized holding tanks for septic and freshwater as well as freshwater hookup when on the dock. Quadruple SeaBlaze underwater transom LED's (white/blue) were installed this spring -- you'll light up your harbor. A great live-aboard for someone looking. I had 5% UV light emission tints installed last summer to help keep the boat cool when temps are over 90 degrees and they do great job. Any additional need for heat mitigation can be aided by canvas coverings (included) for the windows from the outside. This is located in the Chicago Harbor System. If you'd like to come and see it, I'd be happy to show it anytime. The price includes the yearly slip fee already paid for 2019, about $4,000 value.
