      Some say that this model and vintage is the best  that Hatteras has ever built. Now this is the lowest priced  61 extended deck motor yacht available on the market. This is phenomenal, over built, bedroom bath, level yacht. It has an 18.5 foot beam with full width salon that gives you  the feel of much larger vessel yet it can be operated safely  by couple.
    
   The low hour Detroit  12V71s can get you there and home safely and economically.  If you keep them under 1000 RPM then this grand lady runs like long range trawler making knots.  The motors have less than 4500 hours use are situated in two seperate and massive engine rooms. There is Onan 20kw generator and watermaker.
  
     The yacht just made trip from Norfolk, Va to Boston, Ma. and burned less than 900 gallons of diesel fuel for the entire trip with the generator running 24/7.      The engines are in top shape and have always been pampered with good maintenance. They were never pushed and have always been cruised at low rpm.     This is an all purpose yacht for live aboard, charter or make living  operating it as bed and breakfast business.
