This full commercial spec. Avon Searider came to us in 2014 via third party from The Caister Inshore Lifeboat Station. She had an impressive specification from her previous role as an ILB. This was further refined to prepare "Sea Harrier" for the Round Britain Challenge< class three years ago.....this event unfortunately did not come to fruition and Sea Harrier did not partake. That said we have had incredible adventures around the North Cornish coast where her sea keeping qualities have been thoroughly tested. Here is her specification.
Engine/Steering 2008 Mercury SeaPro ,PTT, S/S Vengence prop, battle damage to skeg, see pic....dressed out. Inversion mod to carbs (ILB) Anecdotally 150 hrs use at Caister and around 100 hrs with us. New impeller, spark plugs, G/B oil in 2016. BayStar hydraulic steering....perfect. Five adults plus kit 28 knots.
Nav/Comms: Garmin echoMap 50, Icom M323 radio, Fusion MS-RA50 sound system...all new 2014/15. Radar Reflector. New battery 2016. Full compliment of nav lights.  All manuals present.
Hull/Sponsons Full commercial spec, Lifting eyes/Davits, triple Hypalon on bow, rubbing strakes...some deep scores.....that's what they are there for!! No patches, hold air perfectly. Low pressure gauge included....2.5 psi need not be guess work any more Twin elephant trunks, non slip deck, multiple grab handles ,spray rails with new spliced ropes, storage bags. Hull anti-fouled International VC Offshore EU....the best you can get.
Trailer: DeGraff 750kgs galvanised, full "Gull Wing" roller conversion....makes recovery so much easier! Spare wheel. In very good condition and perfect tow .
Other: kg anchor, 30m warp plus chain. Nice wooden oars.Bilge pump 800gpm 2x Barrus fuel tanks with removable fuel tray, gals each. Avon /Zodiac MilPro bladder tanks....full military air drop spec, gals each. Please note, the bladder tanks need compatible fuel couplings. Very versatile fuel pay load....perfect for proper trip!
Seating: ScotSeat KPM Marine.......as new ,need say more, simply superb!!!!!
