Classic fibreglass motor launch built in 1970. 21 foot LOA with shaft drive on drive reduction gear. 24 knots speed cruising comfortably at 18-20 knots. Design Colin Mudie Builder Ian Toll of Poole The Tollcraft Shark 21 was first produced in 1967 and an example was raced in the Cowes Torquay power boat race. Not as well know or quite as pretty as the Fairey Huntress 23 but good usable classic. Reluctantly for sale. Applejack is fitted with 180hp Ford Dorset (Sabre) engine coupled to drive reduction and shaft drive. Stainless steel spade rudder and wet exhaust. The open cockpit is great for fishing or entertaining and there is two berth cuddy cabin forward. The engine was apparently rebuilt in approximately 18 years ago. The boat was refitted with new cushions, cabin linings and cockpit floor. Applejack was originally owned by Mr Elkin (Elkins boatyard) for about 25 years and then was purchased by one of yard hands. have owned her for about eight years and the past three years she has been laid up ashore. The shaft and rudder have been removed to aid transportation. She could do with an exterior paint and antifoul and of course the shaft and rudder will have to be refitted. This is relatively straightforward job and the bracket has been re-laminated recently. The boat is fitted with chart plotter, fish finder, (not tested) nav lights, fenders and lines. As she does require some commissioning, an offer on the asking price of 5,950 will be considered. Buyer will have to arrange collection with own trailer as she is located on yard cradle although could arrange local delivery at cost. Engine can be seen running.
