This boat is over 21 feet long and runs lovely with its V8 marine engine Glen-L Riviera is modeled after the classic triple cockpit mahogany boats of the 1940's of which Chris Craft was known for.
The Chris-Craft Riviera was one of those classic boats built between 1949 to 1955. It featured three different sizes: 16ft, 18ft and 20ft. The 18ft and 20ft were the most popular causing phase out of the 16ft.
In 1955, people were seeking faster boat wtih more stream lined looks. The Riviera was replaced by the Capri. The Capri is best characteristized as an extended Riviera with bleached deck and curved windshield. The classic swept lines of the windshield set this boat apart from its competition and is mainstay of runabouts today.
The Glen-L Riviera incorporates the look of feel of the Capri but maintained the classic lines of Riviera.
