Sailing skiff, 14ft race boat on trailer. Ready for summer for sale
have dropped the price to get rid of it.will not be listed again as will part it out.
Up for sale is my 14ft skiff. Reason for sellingis that its bit much boat for me, think ill try something little lesstechnical. (thanks for all the swap offers, but have just bought catamaran)So 14ft skiff, lenght over all is 17’6 ftdesigned as person boat. She is complete boat ready to sail oversummer.- Rudder and centerboard- 2 masts 1x alloy and 1x carbon fiber- As set of sails for each mast (smaller andbigger) kevlar main and decron jibs and 3x asy spinnakers (large rig carriesaround 300ft)- 2 spare masts and some carbon pieces incase arepair is needed- Rigging etc- Probably bunch of stuff I have forgottenThis boat has been on the cover of Australianyachting and holds title at the championships back when it was called ‘grandfinal wedge’The previous owner has written page ‘how to’that is very helpful that comes with the boat. The trailer is box trailer that has long drawbar to hold the boat. Tows great (i took it back from sydney) but has no rego. Beinga box trailer all the ‘stuff’ can go in the trailer and the boat sits on top inits cradle that is bolted on. The trailer will still open when the boat is onfor loading and unloading if need be. The floor is rusty and would needreplacing eventually and tyres are old (not worn) so they be up for replacementas well. The pictures of the boat sailing are theprevious owner wish it was me) and all the others are current. The whole thing is really light people cancarry the boat, and the masts are very easy to handle with one person. The trailer does not have bracket for themasts, put them on my roof racks, but they could also be put on top of theboat for transport as well.Any questions please ask and I will try toanswer them correctly, but like said this boat is bit beyond me.hull needs good polish, it does have scratches etc and few repairs done previously but nothing that look like it would effect the boat usability. FinePrint (might just answer ya question) so paypal is fine but you pay the 2.5% charges. bank transfer or cash is obviously preffered as there is no charge. Contact within 24hrs and pick up in days (or ask before) Delivery is ok but you cover all my costs plus abit for my time (ask prior) Happy to help where can for courier pick up etc
