have this original John Alsop 24 ft sailing boat, which have taken out of the water on purpose built trailer (to allow easy working). The mast has been removed for easy transport, the boat has good sails, ropes, life jackets outboard motor,( the outboard can be fitted through the hull in purpose built hull cavity or on the outboard bracket ,( which is about to be re-fitted to the transom along with the re-furbished rear high seat duck-board.) have had new bowsprit made fitted to keep the front bow rail in place properly. All the external timber has been re-furbished stained the hull has been rubbed down is currently being painted. have had new stainless steel rudder fabricated fitted, have also fitted new rear slide out door re-furbished the inside steps back to original rectified the bilge pump. the inside of the boat is very dirty,(from being locked up for long time) needs some good hard elbow grease,(Work) to clean it properly scrub the ceiling, the inside timbers also need re-varnishing. The boat is in good sound overall condition has been boat coded, (not registered). This model sail boat was designed made with the novice sailor in mind, it can be sailed easily by person is very stable.I just don't have time to finish all the work, however the boat is at my home will allow the purchaser to complete some work here ,(as long as it is done quickly) before being moved. The trailer was not built for road use, therefore boat transport truck would be needed to move it by road or alternatively it can be put back in the river motored by outboard motor. the boat is located in Wiseman's Ferry NSW, have priced the boat accordingly will consider trading or swapping diesel generator of KVA or bigger for this boat, for further inquiries please phone Ray on 0457-260588, I've had re-think as don't have the time nor the space to keep this boat, need it sold so I've reduced the price, if anyone wishes to take advantage of good offer, please do so,
