Wooden River Cruiser for sale

                                                                Nymph "c.1935"
Length 21 ft. ins. Beam 7ft. ins. Draught ft. Headroom ft. 10 ins.Engine is Morris Vedette cylinder side valve electric start.Construction is mahogany on oak with double diagonal hull.
She is an original Banhams Fens Cruiser made in the Cambridge area circa 1935.
I had her hull professionally restored and many parts re-machined.
I was close to finishing her but commitments with work meant had to get her lifted from the river Ouse and dropped beside my factory where she has sat for the last five years.
I spent £9000 on the hull alone but alas my factory has now closed and she must find new owner to pick up the baton.
She had gone backwards bit from standing but the Hull is sound. stripped the interior as planned to put the galley at the bow where the sea toilet is and turn her from to berth.
She really has an amazing patina and turns heads when afloat and so lovely to sail.
I am genuinely sad that could not finish restoring her and hope she finds someone competent enough to do so at bargain price.
Thank you for looking.

The engine was fine whenI took her out of the water.
I spent quite bit to get her correct before. even 3Dmachined new exhaust manifold.

However, she has been standing for while and the battery isflat but regularly turned it Over with the prop shaft.

The engine is sweet when running.

She has gone backwards since took her out and know theroof will need re-doing.

If could keep her, would epoxy the roof before refittingher inside.

I also made stainless steel frame for cabin roof.
She looks bit shabby now but the money has been spent onthe sides as you can see from the photos and that will outlast you as long asshe is maintained. Hi,
The trailer does not have its own breaks and the wheels arefor low speed only so would recommend they were changed.
The trailer itself is good quality and have put new keelrollers on it.
Kind regards
John
