Wanted: A new home for my old friend.'Notional' Reserve Price is a 700ml bottle of JW black label whiskey and a box of Cascade Pale Ale (approx. $120). This to be delivered for pick up (only) and cost can be deducted from the winning bid if more than $120. If winning bid is less than $120, expect the Whisky and Beer only.Its 2000 model 75HP Mariner engine which did 30 hours in shed first 10 years and then became my commuter and fishing boat at Berowra Waters for about 7 years. Run daily then to something like 300 hours though not checked (will confirm hours this weekend, but has plenty). Idle for almost one year now.Boat and motor have caught plenty of fish and always looked after me. I became Dad and needed to upgrade to something more comfortable for the kids rather than keeping my old girl running. Had some issues, but could not part with her until now.Engine:Engine runs fine, but seems to have lost tooth on forward gear, runs perfect in reverse but might need new/second hand gearbox at worst ... unless your favorite fishing spot is close by and accessible in reverse or idle.After waiting for me to decide on her future, steering has seized, will need new steering cables, WD and determination.Had it checked before sale and apparently a new thermostat is now needed. Runs fine and of course comes with risk, but really has been such good engine am have no reason to believe it can't run well for years to come with some attention. Boat:Transom had small bit of movement when got it, told its not unusual and nothing to really worry about is the same after yearsHas been beaten up as commuter, see sections of the moldings joining glass are knocked off. Fair bit of this and photo of the worst section shown in close up. Some of it round the transom at least should be glass patched or dealt with, but handyman work, just time ..... This is what happens when folks with 40ft + boats don't adhere to knot and no wash zones!Suspect we are out of rego now, but have compliance plates and papers ... you can renew.Is badly fowled and you'll just needs to be scrape if your parking in the shed or antifoul if keeping on the water. Has been antifouled previous so just touch up if neededTrailer:Used it once to nurse the boat from Nowra to SydneyHas bit of rust but not too bad. ......its trailer..... but personally would not plan to be comfortably running up and down the coast or long distances on it without bit of TLC and work. Unregistered, but its trailer and will run round the corner for some time yet.Parked it in the wrong spot past few months and someone chipped the teeth off the winch and took the guts out of the coupling mechanism. purchased and can provide new coupling to drive away. It will need new winch and really don't know what else depends how you plan to use but I'm no mechanic. The boat is now on it and will try to post some photos before auction close (overseas at the moment). Assume that you will need to provide  a trailer board for lights and indicators, might be able to provide but tbc. You will need to get inspected to get registered as it's not currently registered and no papers available though we are still looking for them.Accessories:40lt fuel tank includedFish Finder works fine and includedFire extinguisher, paddles included.No lifejackets as took to my new boat.Fenders in photos are not includedMarine Radio included, but no antenna and do not know if its workingBattery included and working fineAnchor included.I agree it is risky proposition, things am not aware of could go wrong or even be wrong there is work to be done, but have done my best to be honest here and had it checked out last week before selling. Its old and has one neglected year, been on the water for years. But think my reserve is very reasonable whilst hope for more than $120, will accept if that is the best offer. am here because really believe that  the right person, with some hard work and modest cost, can get great value and memories from her as have had. genuinely hope  and expect it will work out well for the right person.I appreciate that the Engine alone might be worth more than the whole package together, but I am time poor and emotionally attached so would really prefer to see it all go together for another lease on life. Lie to me if needed, but do not offend by asking me to split it up. hope she finds home and will sit on my wharf and look at the place she used to sit, drink the beer, drink the whiskey then move on with life absent my old friend.
