Hi and welcome to my auction for my Regal Valanti 170 complete with mercury Blackmax 135 hp outboard.These boats are in class of their own, great quality compared to some out there.I’m am the second owner from new and I’ve only had it year and used it once, hence the saleThe boat is in excellent condition for its age and only has couple of small blemishes, real credit to its former keeper, the interior is also very nice with the drivers seat on runners and the passenger back to back seat able to fold flat for sunbathing etc, the rear seat lifts out and is where the separate oil tank and battery are kept, there is also under floor storage for skis and such like, the central window folds round so you can access the bow area easily, it comes complete with vhf radio with fitted Ariel and depth gauge (very handy for the shallows) also fitted is Sony cd stereo with speakers up behind the dash area, the biminy cover is also easy to put up and fold down in the event of getting caught in shower or just trying to get some shade.The engine is mercury Blackmax 135hp outboard and again is is excellent condition having always been flushed and washed after every outing it’s 2.0 litre V6 stroke) with an inbuilt fuel tank in the boat and still runs the oil injection from separate tank, the engine had big service October 2018 at cost of over £1000, receipt to prove, there are lots of receipts to look through and complete works manual for the engine.The trailer is also great and very easy to manoeuvre around, it has been fitted with new frame shock and hitch and tows great, very easy to launch and retrieve boat with its speed winch, and has hose connector to flush out brakes and hubs after every use.
Reason for sale is it just doesn’t get used and I’m loosing my storage under cover) as with all things like this, it’s great idea but life takes over and there’s always something else to do.
No the bad bits not many)A couple of the poppers around the screen need replacing have pack of them included) the last and only time out the throttle would bog down slightly if you just put it flat out, it was fine if you introduced it in stages, was told this could be due to stale fuel as it’s always been stored with full tank, (has full tank now) it takes few turns to start from cold but once running just flick of the key sees it burst into life again, I’m able to start it and run on muffs (included) for any one to see, tell tail cooling works fine.A couple of the lights on the tail board have seen better day and although they work would benefit from being replaced new lights included)
